Offer a free table as Last Minute

From your table plan you can easily offer a free table as a last minute. You decide for how many people the last minute is available and you save it. The last minute is then immediately available for your guests in your Resengo widget and on www.resengo.com.

You can create a last minute like this:

  1. Go to your Icon > Tableplan.
  2. Go to the date and time you want to add a Last Minute.
  3. Click on a free table to open the reservation window.
  4. In the reservation window click on lastminute.svg next to Number of people to make it a Last Minute reservation.
  5. Enter the minimum number of people and maximum number of people your guests can reserve for.
  6. In comments, enter any additional action you wish to take, for example "Free aperitif".
  7. Click Save.

By entering a last minute, you are not blocking the possibility of making a reservation through the normal channels. There, these places remain available until someone has actually made a reservation.

Get Last Minutes automatically created

You can also set up that last minutes are automatically generated when certain conditions are met. By means of simple rules you can limit the automatic creation of Last Minutes to certain services or certain weekdays. You can also decide when the Last Minute should be generated.

Example:

You would like a last minute to be automatically created on weekdays if there are still tables available 3 hours before the start of the service. However, you want the number of last minutes created to be limited to a maximum of 4.

To do this, you set the parameter Lunch/Dinner to select the correct time slot. In addition, you set the weekdays to 1234 (respectively Monday to Thursday) and you set the number of hours before the start of the event to 3 (number in hours). The number of last minutes that may be created (#LMH) is set to 4.

Finally, you determine the minimum and maximum number of people for whom the last minutes will be created.

Add a new line like this:

  1. Go to Icon Marketing > Last Minutes.

If you don't see this menu item, click on show more to view the all display menu items.

  2. At the bottom of the list, press Icon add record to create a new rule
  3. Fill in the conditions for the rule. Below you will find an overview of the different parameters you can set.
  4. Your new rule has been created.

Every hour the system goes through the list and validates if Last Minutes should be automatically created. If not all conditions are met, or if the maximum number of Last Minutes has already been automatically created, the line will be skipped.
