The IOS App for Resengo Tables

Make sure you are always aware of who goes to your restaurant is coming and who is currently there. With the Resengo IOS app you can always consult reservations and occupancy. You can also add reservations do through the app.

How does the IOS App work?

Resengo has an IOS App that you can download. Download the Resengo i-Table app via the app store by searching for Resengo or via apps.apple.com/be/app/resengo -table Login you do with your Resengo account. The app is not available for Android.

Only administrator accounts have the ability to use the app. As user (your guest) the app is not available.

The first time you log in it may take a while until all data is loaded to be. This loading of all data is only the very first time you log in needed. 

How can I drag or edit tables on the iPad?

You can edit tables on the iPad by holding down on the table for 1 second. You will see the update menu appear. If you want to move tables on the iPad, at the top you can go to  click. That will be  so that you know you are in sleep mode. Then keep pressing a table for 1 second, then it will get a red border and you can drag it. Release and press to save. Press . again to exit sleep mode.

Troubleshooting

My login and password are not remembered on my iPad/iPhone, how can i fix that?

The new iOS update contains the setting that cookies saves off by default. 

Possible symptoms as a result:

  • Not remembering passwords, last used settings,...
  • You will receive a message that the web page requires cookies are - Website functions do not work as expected 

Solution with IOS 6

  1. Go to Settings > Safari
  2. Under Privacy you will see Accept cookies
  3. If set to Never, click on Accept cookies and select From visited or Always
  4. Test the webpage again

Solution with IOS 7

  1. Go to Settings > Safari
  2. Under Privacy & Security see the Block cookies institution
  3. If it is set to "Always", click on "Block cookies" and select From third parties and advertisers or Never
  4. Test the webpage again

How can I be notified of new reservations on the App?

You can set the app to notify you of new reservations as soon as they arrive, do the following:
  1. Make sure you're in the menu where you Reserve, Quick List, etc.  get to see. At the very bottom, choose Settings.
  2. you now have two possible settings that you can activate. When you set these settings to green, they are activated.
    • Online reservation: A notification get on your phone every time there is an online reservation is made, i.e. when the customer makes a reservation himself or adjust a reservation
    • Regular reservation: A notification get on your phone every time someone from it restaurant itself adds a reservation (e.g. via the app or via the online back office) or a reservation adjusts
  3. Click Save  at the top right to save your save new settings and go back to the menu
  4. Check your iPhone/iPad notification settings. Go to Settings > Notification > i-Table.

What are the possible settings of the App?

Once logged in you can use the Menu > Settings adjust the following:
General Settings
  • Sync interval (min): The number of minutes every time that the app will check if there are new reservations / adjustments to be
  • Number of months on quick list: The number of months you have ahead can book with the app

Client synchronization

  • Stubborn: When you manage multiple companies who work with Dixys, you can ensure that all companies sync and not just what you're logged in to on the app
  • History days:  The number of days in the past that data must be kept in the app

Client notifications (notifications you get on your iPhone or iPad)

  • Online reservation: Get notified on your iPhone/iPad whenever an online reservation is made
  • Regular reservation: Get a notification on your iPhone/iPad every time someone from the restaurant itself has a reservation adds

I can't use the app, I get the message that I have Resengo need to contact?

The app is part of met Mobile & Social Pack In addition to the app, this module offers many interesting possibilities. Your booking system will be integrated into your Facebook page and linked to your Twitter account if you use it makes. This offers additional possibilities:

  1. Your customers can book directly via Facebook.
  2. If you have the gift voucher webshop, your customers can buy gift vouchers directly through Facebook.
  3. Positive feedbacks you receive can automatically go to be posted to your Facebook page.
  4. Last minutes you create are automatically added to your Facebook page and Twitter posted with a link to get that last minute instant to reserve.
  5. Customers can have their own positive reviews posted on their own timeline. These feedbacks are only posted once you publish them. This is the modern word of mouth!

The setup of this module costs € 150 once. The license costs € 10/month. If you want to see this module activated, please contact the Resengo helpdesk.

How can I do the receipt via the app?

You do the reception via the menu item Reception.
Register arrival
You have tabs here that you can keep the reservations in different show statuses:

  • R: Reserved, marked with a check
  • B: At the bar, indicated by a glass. This status is not activated by default
  • A: At the table, indicated by a knife and fork
  • Q: Departed, marked with an ending
  • NS: No Show, marked with a thumbs down

By swiping a reservation to the right, it will be in the next standing. So you do the receipt through the list on the tab and then swipe the arrived customers right.
If you have no-shows at the end of an evening, you can go to swipe left.

Enter passage
You enter a passer-by as follows:

  1. In the reception screen, click on the top right plus sign
  2. Choose the number of people
  3. Click on Table if you want another table than the table automatically created by i-Table is calculated
  4. In the table screen click on the table(s) where are you going to turn these guys on
  5. Click Save at the top right

The guests appear in the reception list from 90 minutes before the shift begins. This window allows you to make adjustments via the settings under General Settings>Time Window

The data between the app and the web application does not seem equal to walk, what should I do?

The app works offline which means data is synced between the app and the web server. When the synchronization has not been running for a while (for example, when your device offline), this data may not match.

To make sure everything is in sync, do the following:

  1. Make sure your device is connected to the internet. For example, try surfing to some websites first to make sure
  2. In the app, go to Reservation list.
  3. Pull it down and hold it so that the gear keeps running
  4. When the gear stops turning, the synchronization is completed. No reservations are allowed in the reservation list standing in the orange lake.
    If there are reservations left in orange in the list or if you still notice differences between the data in the app and the web application, please report this problem to the helpdesk with a clear description of which data is incorrect.

Uninstall and reinstall app option.

Caution

Before uninstalling the application, please check whether there are no unsynced reservations in your reservation list are on the app. These are listed in orange. You can sync it manually through the reservation list to drag down until you see a circle icon at the top get to see. If you delete the application while you reservations not yet synchronized in the application has been saved, these will be permanently lost.

Why don't I see a table plan in the app?

The app is a simplified version of i-Tafel. The main reason for this is because the app also works offline. which means data is continuously synchronized. However, that means also that it is impossible to use all the possibilities that the online application also offers in the app to offer. The table plan is one of the things that are not possible on the app.

On your iPad or tablet you can also use the online version. The table plan is fully provided to use through a tablet.

Where can I find the version number and device ID of my device?

  • Open the application and navigate to Settings
  • Scroll down and select About

I'm having problems with the app, what steps should I take?

To solve the problems with the app you can use the following: try methods:

  1. Activate the airplane mode and switch turn it off again after thirty seconds. Does this solve the problem not on, continue with step 2.
  2. Turn off the device on which the app is giving problems and wait thirty seconds. Then switch on the device back on.
  3. In the app, open Settings and press all the way at the bottom Reload all data.
  4. Navigate to the app's reservation list and watch check if there are still reservations in orange stand. These reservations have not yet been transferred to the system on the computer and make a note manually in the system on the computer.
  5. Remove the i-Table app by long pressing the icon and then the cross. Navigate to the Appstore and search for Resengo, download the i-Table app again and log in again.
