Send SMS as confirmation or reminder of a reservation to you guests. With SMS messages you have another powerful tool to no-shows to be avoided! You can also reach the customers who have no or an incorrect e-mail address is known.

What is the SMS module
With the SMS module you can send SMS messages from your Resengo. You can do this do this with every reservation where a telephone number is entered. You can choose yourself if you would like to send these SMS messages. As confirmation of the reservation, as a reminder or both! You also have the option to go to multiple customers send a text message at once.
This is a very handy method to avoid no shows because you are still via an extra channel appeals to your customers, including customers for whom you do not have an email address have.
Activate the SMS module
Activation is done through Resengo Support. Click here to create a help desk ticket and ask for activation. When activating you will have to answer 3 questions about when you like to text want to send:
- Do I have to send confirmation of reservations by SMS?
- Should a reminder of reservations be sent by text message?
- Should a text be sent to everyone or only to the guests whose you don't have an email address?
The only cost of the SMS module are the text messages you send. An SMS costs € 0.20. Invoicing is done on the basis of SMS credits. You buy this per 250 pieces (€ 50). When the credits are used up, added a new bundle and billed unless we receive notice to the contrary of you. Credits remain valid indefinitely.
Working with the SMS module
Depending on the settings you determined above, there will be automatically messages sent to customers who book online. Also the reservations that you add yourself, you can send a text message. You can check this - or check it off at the bottom of the reservation screen.
Overview of all sent SMS
Through > Account > SMS get you an overview of all text messages that have been sent from Your Resengo.
Check the delivery status of the SMS based on the column St.

: The SMS was not delivered to the recipient.
The SMS may not have been delivered due to several reasons:
- Non-existent number. Click on the customer's name to view the mobile number.
- The recipient's mobile is off for too long.
- The recipient's operator refused the errand.

Send SMS mailing
You can also send text messages to multiple members at once. You do this like this:
- Go to
Guests > Guest list.
- Above the zone where you type the message of the mail check your SMS instead of Email
If you do not see SMS, this means that you do not have any SMS credits. Please contact the helpdesk. - Type a message or use an already sent message by clicking on the folder to click
- Click Send.
Your message can only contain 160 characters.
