My newsletters end up in the spam or junk folder mail right. How is this possible?

It is inevitable that emails sometimes end up in spam. However, you can take a number of measures to prevent this.

Change the DNS settings of your own domain name

If you use your own domain name as the sender, then it is good to adjust the SPF record of that domain name to match to indicate that the Resengo servers are also allowed to send mails in name of your domain name.

The following must be added to the SPF record:

ip4:94.143.190.224 ip4:94.143.186.18 a:mail.resengo.com a:mail2.resengo.com

An example of what the SPF record might look like:

v=spf1 ip4:94.143.190.224 ip4:94.143.186.18 a:mail.resengo.com a:mail2.resengo.com -all

The ip4 parameters contain the ip addresses of the Resengo load balancer and mail server.
the a parameters contain the domain names from which Resengo mails are sent.
the -all parameter causes only e-mails from the name of the business can be sent via the ip addresses and domain names mentioned in this record.
Your business can of course also use its own ip addresses and domain names add in the SPF record.

Other

  • We recommend to send your newsletter not an info@ or admin@ e-mail address  to use. It is best to use a separate e-mail address for this, for example newsletter@. This is possible namely have an influence on outdated spam systems. It e-mail address from which the e-mails are sent based on the Sender field.
  • The rules that mailboxes of Telenet  use are very strict and can cause newsletters end up in the customer's spam or junk mail folder.

Can't send an email, a hand appears with an exclamation mark?

This is due to the fact that a pop-up blocker is active in your browser. This can be the pop-up blocker of your browser or for example that of Google. Below you will find documentation on how to activate from popups within Chrome:
