Resengo helps you to optimize your table occupancy even better. With the Timeline you have an overview of your occupation at a glance in your different zones per service.
Timeline comes into its own when you work with double occupancy of your tables. You can then immediately see if there is still room when you have a guest on the line or when they walk in without a reservation.
Overview of the Timeline
On the left side of your Timeline you will get an overview of your different zones, tables and the capacity per table. Based on colored sphere in front of the zone will indicate whether the zone is open or closed for online reservations.
If you don't want to see a zone on your Timeline, you can minimize it. Click on the arrow next to the zone.
If you would like to see your reservations for another day, you can navigate via the calendar above. click on the arrows to go to the next day or select a day from the date or from the calendar.
Above you can see your different services. Going on from the color you can see whether it is open or closed for online reservations. You can also see how many place settings have already been booked and the total number that you accept for that service.
With every reservation you will see the following:
- See the status of the reservation.
- The guest's first and last name.
- The number of people.
- In case there is a comment attached to the reservation, a speech bubble will appear.
- In the case of a recurring guest, there will be a star after the guest's name.

Tip
You get the most out of Timeline if you work with double table occupancy. The Timeline then gives you an overview at a glance of when a table is occupied and where that last hole is that can still be filled.
Working with the Timeline
Add and edit a reservation
Click on the desired table and hour in the grid or click on the desired arrival time at the top of the timeline to add a reservation. A screen will then open on the right. Complete the reservation here. If you want to update this reservation, click on the reservation in the grid.
You can only add reservations in the grid where the arrival time is part of an open service.
If someone comes into your business without a reservation, you can also add them as a passage via your Timeline. You do this in the same way as adding reservations. A passage is created when you add a reservation at the current time. You can see this by the blue time indicator.
Searching for a reservation
In the top right you will find a search bar back. Search for a reservation here by entering the guest's name.
First there will be will be searched between the reservations of the day on which you are seated. If you click search all reservations ... a search will be made for all future and past reservations under that name.
Move a reservation from table
You can move reservation to another table by clicking and dragging this reservation to the desired table.
Currently only a vertical movement of a reservation in the Timeline is possible possible. So you can only put the reservation on another table (see y-axis). The time of the reservation will remain the same (see at the top of the x-axis).
A reservation that not yet assigned to a table is shown at the top of the Timeline. These reservations are separated from the grid with a white bar. To assign the reservation to a table, you have to drag the reservation from here to the desired table.
A warning symbol will be displayed when the reservation is dragged to a table where the capacity of the table is less than the number of people contains reservation.
Change the status of a reservation
To change the status of a reservation, click on the current status of the reservation.
The different statuses you can get are: R (reservation, red color), T (at the table, orange color), V (departed, gray color).
Change the order of the tables on Timeline
If no specific order or index has been specified for the tables, the system will give the tables on Timeline a logical and alphabetical order. However, if you wish to deviate from this, it is possible to determine the order of the tables on Timeline yourself. To do this, go to > Tables > Table settings. Determine the order of the tables by moving them with the arrows.
