How does the newsletter module work?

What is the newsletter module?

With the newsletter module you can send out mailings to you yourself members base in your Resengo. All your members who have subscribed to your newsletters you can send a newsletter via Your Resengo system. This can be done by email or via sms. 

Sending a mailing 

You can send your mailing via Icon Guests > Guest list. There you can in the dark gray quay type and send your message.

Select your members

  1. Go to Icon Guests > Guest list.
  2. In the Nwsbr column, enter the value True . 
  3. Click search.
  4. You will now see a list of all customers in your customer database who have subscribed to your newsletter.  Due to the GDPR legislation  only a newsletter is sent to those who chose the Newsletter option during the reservation flow.
  5. Select no one to send a newsletter to all customers in your filtered list.
Tip

At the top you can see Number of members in the selection . This is the number of people who will receive your mail.

After sending your mailing, you can still check who received it and who opened the email:

  1. Go to Icon Guests > Guest list.
  2. Click on the map mceclip0.png to check if your email has been sent. You can also see by how many people it was received (#V) and read (#g).
  3. Click on the subject if you want to open the mail again.

Create your mailing

You do this by scrolling down and formatting this mail in dark gray frame. More information about specific formats you can do can be found here. 

  1. Click Use advanced editor if you want to upload photos or hyperlinks want to add.
  2. Indicate the mail template of your business.
  3. Search for the correct account via the magnifying glass icon if no sender is entered.
  4. Enter a subject.
  5. Enter a message. 
  6. Click on Preview to get a preview of your mailing.
  7. Enter a time in the future at Shipment date. So the mail can already be loaded into the system before it is sent. 
  8. Click Submit. After you confirm 2 questions, you will see a pop-up that says "Sending...". Is this If not, your computer may be blocking all pop-ups. Switch this to send the mail.

You can also send a previous message by clicking the map mceclip1.png and clicking on the subject of the email.

Tip

It is recommended first send a test to your own email address. Filter on your own email address and click on search. If you send the email now, you only send it to yourself.

 

Caution

Once you see the "Sending..." window, your message will be sent. This process cannot be stopped.
