With the Lightspeed connection you can manage all your reservations, orders and payments consult from one screen. Synchronize your customer data, reservations, takeaway and delivery orders, table statuses and turnover per customer between Resengo and Lightspeed.

Activation and management of the link

Activation is done through Resengo Support. Click here to create a help desk ticket and ask for activation.

Lightspeed and your reservations

Thanks to the link between Lightspeed and Resengo you effortlessly manage all your reservations and the subsequent payments from one screen. 

In concrete terms, the link means the following for your reservations:

  • When you mark a reservation as present in Resengo, an account is immediately opened in Lightspeed for the correct table and so the right guest. An account is also opened for a passer-by.
  • When that reservation is accompanied by a gift voucher and/or a deposit is connected to an advance, those transactions are immediately registered as payment on the bill.
  • When you change the bill's table to Lightspeed, it also follows in Resengo.
  • When you pay the bill in Lightspeed, Resengo table released.
  • In Resengo you can now always consult the account that is in Lightspeed is linked to a reservation.

Lightspeed and your gift vouchers

You can also register Resengo gift vouchers as a payment method in Lightspeed. When a gift voucher is linked to a reservation in Resengo, this will automatically to happen. When the guest comes to your business with a gift voucher, you can use it register in Lightspeed like this:

  1. Go to the payment screen in Lightspeed.
  2. Click on payment method Loyalty.
  3. If the account was created without a customer being selected, you need to select it first. Create a new customer, select the correct customer or set this to the anonymous customer (first option, indicated by the two dots).
  4. Click on Continue.
  5. Just enter the gift voucher number (only numbers) and click SCAN.
  6. Indicate the amount you wish to use to pay the bill by clicking on the blue buttons.

The indicated amount will be deducted from the bill and the gift voucher will either be partially or completely consumed in your Resengo.

Lightspeed and your Takeaway & Delivery module

Also your takeaway & delivery orders in your Resengo are sent to your Lightspeed synchronized with the link. This is handy in terms of organization and very useful for your marketing. This way you always know which dishes your regular guest consumes and how much it spends on average. 

Specifically, the link means the following for your Takeaway & delivery orders

  • The articles in Lightspeed are automatically synced to your Resengo in a folder. You can then sell for takeaway or delivery directly link to that folder or you can now easily link your own takeaway and /or delivery dishes to products in Lightspeed so that they are synchronized correctly.
  • Your orders are now automatically synced to Lightspeed. Through the settings of the synchronization you determine whether or not this is automatic should be done, and if so at what time. 
  • Payments for those orders are also made directly to the order in Lightspeed linked.

To ensure that your orders are correctly forwarded to Lightspeed, it is important that every product you sell is linked via Resengo to the right product in Lightspeed.

You do this as follows:

  1. Go to Icon > Cash register > Products.
  2. Icon Edit a product and select at the bottom at Product code the corresponding product in Lightspeed.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each product whose sales need to be synchronized be transferred to Lightspeed.

An extra advantage is that you now also have your Menu in Resengo! You can then also work with the digital menu in your Resengo widget.
