How does an integration through the mail reader work?

How does an integration via the mail reader work?

We have built a mail reader in Resengo that is able to interpret emails and text messages related to reservations and convert it to a reservation. This is how you can use your Resengo link with any platform that notifies you via email and/or SMS brings a new reservation. A few important things are to be kept in mind:

  1. These reservations are made according to the rules of an online reservation. If there are no online reservations more can be made for a specific time for which the email reader receives a reservation, this reservation is also not registered in your Resengo. You will receive a clear notification on your dashboard with a link to the e-mail so that you can manually can still use this reservation.

How do I create a forward email address in Gmail?

Block Tablebooker (from resto.be) and Seatme (from The Fork) deliberately resengo email addresses giving you the forward address that you get from us don't work if you put that in their back office (late) setting.   1. In an incognito window, go to http://www.gmail.com.

    4. Password: [CompanyID]@gmail 
    5. Recover email: [companyid].thefork@resengo.email or [CompanyID].tablemanager@resengo.email (al depending on which portal you are going to integrate
  4. Once the account has been created, go to Gear > Settings.
  5. Choose Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
  6. check Forward a copy of incoming mail to and enter [CompanyID].tablemanager@resengo.email there.
  7. Click Save changes at the bottom.
  8. In your Resengo back office, go to Icon Guests > Communication history.
  9. Here you will see an email from Gmail asking for to approve the forwarding. Copy the link in that email and paste it into your browser. Then you confirm the forwarding.
  10. In Tablebooker, the notifications can be based on this gmail address be set up, you can now pass this gmail address to seatme and ask to send notifications to this address.
