Working with zip codes and delivery locations

You can determine your delivery locations yourself and set a delivery cost. Keep your deliveries profitable.

In this article:

Specify your delivery locations and set a delivery cost 

You can set for which zip codes you offer home delivery via Icon > i-Shop > Postal codes for delivery. Thereby you can choose to add a delivery cost if necessary. Fill in the following boxes:

  1. Country
  2. Postal code
  3. Delivery cost (Set to 0 if there are no charges)
    for example: Do you work with delivery costs of €2.50? Then enter 2.5 ​​instead of 2,5. 

Tip

You can click on the pencil to add additional explanation that appears once the zip code is selected.

Restrict region for certain delivery times

First determine for which zip codes you wish to offer home delivery. Procedure described above.

Create your regions and divide the zip codes below.

  1. Go to Icon > i-Shop > Postal codes for delivery.
  2. At the top of the screen, select the Regions tab.
  3. Add the regions you want. The consumer cannot see it. 
  4. At the top of the screen, select the tab Postal codes for delivery. Link the zip codes to the umbrella region.

Limit your delivery times to a certain region.

for a single day for a series of days
  1. Go to your Icon Inbox.
  2. Select top left your takeaway restaurant in the dropdown.
  3. Click on plus_add.svg the plus top right.
  4. Then click at the desired time for home delivery Icon the three dots and then on update.
  5. In the Basic tab you can select one or more select delivery regions. If you empty this field late, all regions will be available for this day.
  1. Go to Icon > Calendar > Opening hours (series). Update the desired series.

Tip

You can also restrict delivery in a certain region for certain hours. You do this via Hours & Spread.
